Short Movie : " Mak "

   " Tak Pernah Suka Mak " which translate to "never likes mom " . The title of the movie give a us a hint of what to expect in this short movie . Posted on YouTube at 28 may 2024  on an account own by a clothes company, Elrah Exclusive, this short movie works as an advertisement for their cloth. Yet, I must admit the short movie can be considered a good video to watch on Raya . The genre of this kind of video is usually drama and " Tak Pernah Suka Mak " done it pretty well . You must get ready with one or more tissue at hand while watching this short movie .

   The video started by introducing us to the main character of this short movie , Mi , visiting his mom's grave. The video then cut to his background , how he was left out and ignored by his mom . Dispite all the things that he achieve, his mom seem to never give him any attention unlike his other brothers . In my opinion, the highlight scene of this short movie was when Mi was caught stealing one of the villager chicken and later was beaten by his own brother infront of the villager. Obviously, his mom didn't do anything. This is why Mi never likes his mom . He felt as he was never have a mother before . The video cut back to the graveyard where Mi's brother came and told him the truth . Mi's mom was diagnosed with a cancer and wanted Mi to purposely hate her as when the times came . Mi will not grief for his mom . Mi cried as he learn the truth and later embraced by his brother .

  I think the storyline is good , not amazing just , it is what we have so I am fine with it . It could do some work .

Mohammad Adam Bin Arshad M4T4  This is a short story movie that was posted on YouTube in conjunction to Muslim celebration, Hari raya . The short movie is called CONTENG by PKRNs official YouTube channel. Although the movie follows the same old sad background story on happy celebration day kind of tradition . Surprisingly, I don't mind it . Honestly, the storyline is well made .  It start of by giving us the backstory of our main character , Wan , who has passion in art and drawing . However , his dad thinks that drawing won't make him succeed in life thus they got into an argument and resulting in Wan running away from home . After running from home , Wan did make a living out of his drawing and in a turn of event his brother found him . That set off some emotion in Wan heart to finally return home .
